Janet speaks about Jackson reunion tour

There’s been talk of a Jacksons world tour. Will it happen?
I really don’t know. I hope it happens. I would love for it to happen. I’m probably [my brothers’] biggest fan. I think it would be great if they did. They’re so loved and definitely missed and there’s so much history there, musically speaking even, there’s so much that they have to give . . . there’s so much youth still there. I think about how Mick Jagger is 65 million years old, like a dinosaur or something, all of them [The Rolling Stones], and I look at my brothers and none of them look their age. Not that they’re old, they just still don’t look their age and it really trips me out. And I hope they do [stage a world tour]. They still love their music.

Not really. Janet is a Rolling Stones fan. She even sample one of their songs once.

Yeah, I'm gonna need Miss nearly 50 Jackson to not call anyone old.

Her and the fam won't admit it, but they need a tour like this or they'll be working security with Gary Coleman.

The other Jacksons like Tito, Marlon, Jackie, and Randy have done okay by being studio musicians over the years.

And it's kinda true tho lol The Rolling Stones are awesome but everyone knows they're old as hell

The problem is...unless the Jackson reunion tour is 80% MJ solo stuff, not a lot of people will even be aware of the stuff they are performing.

Did anyone else see the MSG show? Beyond, "Dancing Machine" and the motown medley, about halfway through "Can You Feel It" it got kinda boring. Yuck.

I love me some Jacksons, but MJ's stuff is so much better from a live performance aspect IMO.

I know where you're coming from, but I agree about the opposite, I think the Motown medley is boring, excluding Motown 25. But that's very true, the people who attend Jackson concerts want MJ material mostly.

some of you people greatly underestimate how successful a Jackson Tour could be....and be real she's not off track.....the Mick Jagger is 'very old' to be a performer still in this youth obsessed age!

IF I ATTEND A JACKSON REUNION TOUR AND 80% OF THE SHOW IS A MJ SOLO I WOULD BE EXTREMLY PISSED! IT'S A REUNION TOUR AND 90% OF THE SHOW SHOULD BE J5/JACKSONS FOR THE TRUE FANS NOT THE ONES WHO JUMPED ON THE BANDWAGON WHEN MIKE BLEW UP!

hmmm I'd argue that Jermaine looks his age, lol.

As for Micheal...if he really looks younger than 49,we all know the reason why.

I totally disagree, the motown medley is not boring, its very inspiring and was always a hightlight during previous tours I can see why it was always used. I will never tire from hearing the motown medley (iwyb, abc, tlys). Just like Billie Jean it has to be rubber stamped to any micahel jackson concert. smile

I have a feeling you are right..

You can tell the brothers want this to happen too badly, well at least Jermaine.

BTW..I saw some news footage a few years back of him doing solo concerts recently. Anyone know anything about that?
