I was surprised that the Axl Rose vs Vince Neil feud wasn't on their top 10. And I really think the Biggie/Tupac should have been #1. They both ended up dead (maybe? ) and Biggie was suspected of having something to do with Tupac's killing. No disrespect to Chuck or Jerry Lee but their feud seems a little small potatoes compared to all that. Shake it til ya make it

Band/performer "feuds" are ridiculous to me. It's so high school lunchroom. But this was new to me:
James Brown vs. Joe Tex Fightin' Words: "You keep her" ('You Keep Her,' Tex) Tex and Brown were labelmates in the 1950s, and Tex was credited for one of Brown's early hits. But that didn't make them friends. Tex felt that Brown swiped his stage moves. Soon enough the Godfather would swipe something more personal: Tex's wife. When Bea Ford joined the James Brown Revue, Tex recorded 'You Keep Her.' They periodically shared bills until Tex mocked Brown's famous act by throwing a blanket over his shoulders and singing "Please, please, please – get me out of this cape!" Brown fired several rounds at his rival in a nightclub, reportedly paying off patrons hit by stray bullets with $100 bills. Judges' Decision: James Brown, despite the foreign object

The Killers vs. The Bravery.
it was like a slapfight between 2 femmes. "Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you." - Kahlil Gibran

What about Joey Ramone and Johnny Ramone not even being on speaking terms for well over decade (all the while the band was still together making albums and touring) because Johnny stole his girl and married her?

I remember they were together on some of those VERY early NWA and the Posse albums, in 1987. As many fans of 88-93 hip-hop era knows about the rivalry of Dr. Dre VS. Luke. But a lot of fans have to remember the rivalry started a lot sooner because of different of opinions (gangsta rap VS. party rap) between NWA & 2 Live Crew that were taking it toll. 2 Live Crew threw the first dis when they started questioning the so-called "gangsta lifestyle" that NWA suppose to represent. Around this time, Ice Cube already left NWA (because of money dispute with Jerry Heller & Eazy-E) and it was also well known that Dr. Dre was a former member of The World Class Wreckin Crew (wearing Prince & The Revolution-inspire make-up, etc.). Therefore, these situations easily make NWA targets for dissing. In responds, NWA (especially Dr Dre in later years with Snoop Dogg) started dissing 2 Live Crew (especially Luke) for their lack of lyrical & rhyme skills as well as making negative comments about their "live" shows. [Edited 12/31/07 11:49am] Thanks ! I remember all of that stuff, since I´m a HipHop head since 1983 ( I still have some original vinyl from then, though hundreds of records were stolen when the burglars broke in a couple of years ago) but I never knew about NWA having beef with Luke and his crew. The rest sounds very familiar to me, I still have a few videoclips with interviews with Cube, Eazy E and Jerry Heller. I also used to have albums with both NWA and 2Live Crew on them , some very early releases back when Dopeman and BoyzN the Hood came out on 12". And yes, I remember that Revolution-like look that the World Class Wreckin Cru had goin on back then, with Dre dressed in a purple jumpsuit with ruffles and stuff, that was their first album...I used to have that, too, also got stolen. I also used to own the first Ice-T 12" which was produced by none other than Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, of all people ! Came out on Housejam Records, had Coldest Rap and Cold Wind Madness on it. Ahhh, the good old times. I feel so old now. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"
