If Michael Jackson Can Have His Own Channel On YouTube, Why Prince Rogers Nelson Can't Do The Same?!?

http://www.youtube.com/us...aeljackson

Seriously, it's a way better solution than suing YouTube for nothing.

Haters can say whatever the hell they want about Michael. But one thing that I dare to say is that Michael can do right for his die-hard fans by having most of his classic videos freely available on YouTube.

That EXACTLY the point that Prince is too blind to see. By the end of the day, it's about doing right for Prince-fanatics and NOT for sorry excuse for stockbrokers that couldn't give a rat ass/arse about how we feel about music.

Think about it.

Michael, it seems, HAS embraced the internet more so than Prince nowadays. shrug

Prince wants money in exchange of the usage of his music, plain & simple.

I've said it before anyway, since you can't work against the internet, let the internet work FOR YOU.

But then again, Prince doesn't want the internet working for him without gaining money out of it.

I couldn't give a lil' flying fuck what he does, he ain't hurting his fanbase, he's hurting his OWN dumb ass. I have most of his bootlegged stuff,,,which by the way, are ALL over the internet and can be traced easily cool

Prince is his own man handling his own matters. Whether I agree with it or not, doesn't matter cause it won't change things. Good for Michael and what he's doing. I hope this doesn't become a Prince vs Michael thing. Oh hell who am I kidding, it's going to happen again. lol
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

And to make matters worse, Prince has been talking out of both sides of his neck. During his fallout with WB, didn't he once said that "music should be free"? hmmm

Keep in mind that Michael isn't happy about people using P2P to share bootlegs neither. But at the same time, Michael also believe that suing music fans (especially his fans) will not fix the problem at all, but will only make it worse. And that's exactly the uphill battle that Prince isn't taken in any consideration.

I could care less about youtube since I can't see the videos anyway. However, if Prince had any sense, he would release the stuff on DVDs. That way, he would be making money from it and the fans would have good quality videos that they would own and could watch them on a nice big TV any time they want instead of a little computer screen. That way, everybody would be happy including Prince because the non-fans aren't going to pull up a Prince video on youtube anyway.

As for Michael, I'm pretty sure that the videos he has out there are the same old tired videos that have been played over and over and over and over and over and over and over.....that everyone is sick of seeing anyway. He too should release some DVDs, and not those tired ass solo videos that he has re-released a thousand times. He should release the videos from The Jacksons, The Jacksons variety series from the 1970s, and The Jackson Five cartoon series from the 1970s. That's what I'd rather see than his played out solo shit.

It only makes sense, Michael is all about being commercial. Would it be commercial and smart business to sue fans? Nope. Michael realizes where his bread is buttered and doesn't want to mess with that.

As for releasing the rare stuff, the Bad tour is out on DVD OFFICIALLY in most foreign markets. (I know for a fact it is released in Japan, and I've seen the official version on eBay.) I'm sure the Jacksons stuff will come one day...these things till just take time.

I agree. nod The Jacksons Variety Show series would sell big time on DVD.

The Jackson Family should also release on a bonus DVD all of their music videos (yes, even Rebbie's & La Toya's videos from the 80's era!!! lol). If they do that much, I'll buy it the same week.

.....and a lot of lobbying at Sony BMG & Universal (current owner of Motown) to make things happen. And since those majors are all about making money, they need to help The Jacksons on this project.

Michael is all about making his work known. There was a book about bootlegs that had a quote from him. He was had a pro/con opinion on bootlegs.

His ass just needs to go into the vaults and release an official Bad Tour DVD, Jacksons Triumph Tour DVD and a 3cd collection of previously unreleased material. And I don't know what's going on with the Motown era unreleased material. They have hundreds of songs that haven't been heard

MJ fans fucking scare me.

I'm not talking about people that like the music or can appreciate what he and his family did. I'm talking about these nutjobs that must have some kind of psycho person network and whenever he's mentioned online or is going to appear somewhere they creep out of the shadows to salute their king and defend his honor like the Thriller zombies only much much more scary. MikeJack fan syndrome needs to be added to DSM IV.
