The Mary J. Blige & K-Ci Drama There have been many stories over the years about the six-year love affair Mary J. Blige had with Jodeci frontman K-Ci Hailey. It was indeed a very public and tumultuous relationship and it drove Mary into a period of depression, alcoholism, and drug abuse. I found a few videos that showed Mary and K-Ci at the peaks and lows of their relationship:

Yeah another woman beating piece of shit
Mary has been in many abusive relationships. makes me sick becuase i love joedeci's music. it's not the same listening to k ci sing 'cry for you' when you know he beat the shit out of mary. | |

The guy who was interviewing her was a dipshit. "Would you consider yourselves the Ike & Tina of the '90's?" What a question! Mary was no punk, though.
She fought back. But there was this scary story about K-Ci following her to the street when they were done fighting and put a GUN on her head. You could tell that she loved him though, she really did. I'm so happy for her now, Kendu is treating her like a queen. | |
