No disrespect to the old school, but Eminem's Lyricism has Spoonie Gee and The Treacherous Three beaten .....by a Texas-Sized Country Mile. Simplicity will only get you so far in this world. And, Spoonie Gee and The Treacherous' short career only reprimands such a fact.

You do not understand the evolution either apparently because there is more than twenty years difference between those recordings and the D12 shit.

Respect the pioneers!

Oh, I respect the pioneers. Afrikka Bambatta and The Zulu Nation have one of my favorite beats to a Rap song on "Searchin' For The Perfect Beat (Lookin' For The Perfect Beat). A Tribe Called Quest is "WAAAAY" better rap group than D-12. Midnight Marauders, anyone? I'd take that over D-12World, anyday. But, Devil's Night (The first commercial D-12 release after The Underground EP.) spoke to my inner-youth (To an extent. Without Eminem's Presence, it would have sucked, badly.). That's why it holds aspecial place in my heart. Besides that, as you might already be aware of, D-12 is one of, if not "THE WORST" rap group(s) of all time. But, at times, Slim Shady can be their greatest saviour, next to "GOD", himself. Anyway, I think Wu-Tang may be the greatest Rap Group of all time and my personal favorite.

what you don't understand or most don't, is that back then we presented ourselves as gentlemen and ladies presented themselves as ladies, id go to battles and clubs, and no one got shot, no one got killed, no one got arrested sure there were always some assholes, but real and true hip hop culture was never ever about violence or criminal activity.

What? Are you telling me that they are "STILL" having an impact on music, today? I don't hear about them. I do hear a little bit about Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, though. You're funny.

Did you forget the second post? lol Lil' man. That's so damn condescending of you. Thank you for your ignorance. But, in all seriousness, I'm not for the friction. I just came up to give my twocents.

Maybe you're not into the all of the sick humor. But, I like it because it isn't cookie-cutter, run of the mill bullshit. Redman & Method Man are nice, too. But, I've mentioned some old-schoolers that I like. Scott La Rock and KRS-One (Boogie Down Productions). Big Daddy Kane.

Vintage Biz Markie. Definitely, Masta Ace. Doug E. Fresh and The Get Fresh Crew. I mean, I could go on, really. But, I mentioned someone with a style that "The ORG" has "YET" to appreciate, and I'm the bad guy? Pffftt!

When I was a kid "EVERY" student in my school knew the lyrics to Rappers delite..and we all knew the lyrics to Sucker MCs..I remember those days well..But, the intense feeling of my safety and wellbeing being threatened whenever im around those "types" is more powerful in me than the "golden age" of Rap..trust me I know whats up with it..from the Lee Jeans..Pumas, Adidas, Cazals, british walkers..mock neck shirts..ect ect ect..I just dont dig Crime nor people that like to promote "street culture" or even "LOOK" like thats where they are coming from..its 2000% NEGATIVE to me !
