I let it be known on MJNO, the KOP board, and here on the Org. KOP is where the rational and cool fans are, also the oldest MJ forum out there, yet it's the "bastard child" of MJ fan forums . MJNO is basically a bunch of 13-18 year olds who love anything that Michael releases(I like pissing them off) Anyway, they're not fond of me because they can't handle what I got to say. It's not my fault I know for a fact that Akon and Fergie are wastes of air! i am still trying to work out who you are on mjno as for the remixes the ones with will.i.am are okay but i would have much prefered a couple of new songs, there are plenty of remixes out there already With Love there is no Death

The Beat It remix is funny because Michael is singing the track with open pipes on the original, and Fergie just sounds suffocated. Additionally, Michael's vocals were captured by magic sound engineers (Bruce Swedien), in a perfectly acousted room to a tape, and Fergie's just sound like typical modern HD recorded stuff. There's no air surrounding her voice, whereas Michael's... well, that's what recording vocals used to be like back in the day. They have a completely different kind of presence to them.

Fergie sounds like she's being arse raped by Will I am on this track. She sounds like she needs a shit and someone has just thrust a big fat cock down her throat what a fucking pile of shit

I just wanna take this time to do something I didn't think I would do, I want to apologize to all the MJ fans on here. I've said some very mean things about you guys, I even called y'all Rats over on Prince: Music and More this week. But with the orgnotes and all of you who've sent me links to hear other stuff of Mike's, I'm seeing how wrong and immature I've been and I am sorry. You are not the strange, freaks I envision MJ fans to be and it's refreshing. You guys are cool and you can even see through MJ's shit and be cool about it. Almost how I try to be for a purple lil fellow myself. I don't know where I'll end up with MJ because Michael is Michael and I can't do anything about it but I respect you guys for being able to hang tough with him. You guys are I have some more MJ demos to listen to so I can erase the horror of the remixes I'm now gonna do what every real MJ fan does when a tricky situation has been solved... As a Fan of of Off The Wall & Thriller. This is more proof he hasnt done anything of interest since Thriller. Maybe a song or 2 here or there, but since 1982 the guy has been dead in he water.
I hope for MJ Fan's sake MJ was wacked out on pain killers and the studio heads put this piece of crap together and pasted his name/new cover on it. Because IF he actually was clear headed and really focus on this Thriller 25 remix. wow It doesnt look for his next album. Could you imagine IF Prince did any of this lazy crap? Imagine if he got producers of the moment to do this to Purple Rain. Imagine if Prince was lazy.Imagine if Prince milked his past. - This might be worse then Steven Spielberg deleting digitally the guns in his movie "ET 20th Anniverary" or George Lucas changing Star Wars around in the 1997 release.

I'm not feeling that "PYT" like the rest of you are. I actually think the music on that is better than what Mike is singing. The melody Mike's got going there is shit. Couldn't download the rest unfortunately, but it sounds like I'm not missing much. “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”

If Prince redid anything off of Purple Rain for it's 25th anniversary in 2009, you think the uproar over PFU was bad, the roar would be deafening and in that case, he would most definately deserve it. Bad enough he pulverized the classic 1999 with that God awful 1999: The New Master shit MJ needs some new inspiration cause he's in a bad way letting them bozos fuck with them classics like that. I hope he finds it real fast. [Edited 12/21/07 11:01am] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I don't think the lousiness of these remixes has to be a definitive indication of anything. I mean, the overt prsesence of the Black Eyed Peas / Akon / Kanye West on these tracks might have been confined especially to these tracks, so that the influence of i.e. will.i.am as a performer and a vocalist is not so apparent on the actual album (drop out his vocals and it would have been a good remix). The Akon thing seems almost like a favour inclusion, and Fergie, oh well Fergie...
I'm sure some older names who were big in the 80s like Jackson would have been able to fuck these tracks up as well.

I heard those Thriller 25 remixes & they make me wanna barf. That album is 25 years old, yet MJ lets new singers cover the songs & makes em sound like shit, just 2 be like todays music. It sounds awful, WTF is he thinking?! He should remaster & release Thriller outtakes like "Love Never Felt So Good", "Trouble", "Hot Street", "Nite Line" & "Don't Be Messin' Around". He sure as hell had a good occasion 2 do so. Instead, we get this. What a damn waste! So I think Michael Jackson, will.i.am, Fergie, Akon & Kanye West have all done a pretty good job....
