I just heard P.Y.T. and I now beleive that it was the better of the songs remixed. I wolud love to hear the P.Y.T. demo without all of the hip-hop shit that was in the remix. That was a totally different song. Still depressed with the whole thing in general but what can I do? I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

After hearing that link on youtube with Billie Jean, I wanna strangle Michael. Why isn't THAT on the special edition disc? That kicked my ass! I really enjoyed it.
I just wanna take this time to do something I didn't think I would do, I want to apologize to all the MJ fans on here. I've said some very mean things about you guys, I even called y'all Rats over on Prince: Music and More this week. But with the orgnotes and all of you who've sent me links to hear other stuff of Mike's, I'm seeing how wrong and immature I've been and I am sorry. You are not the strange, freaks I envision MJ fans to be and it's refreshing. You guys are cool and you can even see through MJ's shit and be cool about it. Almost how I try to be for a purple lil fellow myself. I don't know where I'll end up with MJ because Michael is Michael and I can't do anything about it but I respect you guys for being able to hang tough with him. You guys are I have some more MJ demos to listen to so I can erase the horror of the remixes I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

But let me put it this way: a pop artist puts out five simple remixes - and actually they aren't even out yet - and it generates threads with hundreds of replies on the internet forums in less than 24 hours. Now, can you think of any other musician / pop / rock artist / celebrity who could pull off anything like that?

You are one of the cool people. Why do other MJ fans hate you? I was one of the first people to be against these new remixes. I let it be known on MJNO, the KOP board, and here on the Org. KOP is where the rational and cool fans are, also the oldest MJ forum out there, yet it's the "bastard child" of MJ fan forums . MJNO is basically a bunch of 13-18 year olds who love anything that Michael releases(I like pissing them off) Anyway, they're not fond of me because they can't handle what I got to say. It's not my fault I know for a fact that Akon and Fergie are wastes of air! "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. You know the funniest thing about it all is that when this was originally announced, fans at MJJC were actually very upset over it but apparently, they "got used to it" and I have to say some of them forced themselves to enjoy it because "they think" they heard some new MJ vocals. There's nothing new. The demo vocals were polished and reshaped. Simple as that. And people will give you excuses as to why you don't like it. I didn't buy Number Ones because I hate getting the same thing over and over again and I'm not getting "Thriller 25" because, again, it's a rehash.
Access Hollywood's Billy Bush needs to be truly blamed for this. HE'S the one who asked Mike and Will about recreating "Thriller". Mike went along with it too.

Am I the only one who doesnt feel that these remixes are as horrendous as everyone else is making them out to be? I don't think they're all pieces of trash--well except for the Beat It remix with Fergie which shoulda been left in the "Horrible piece of crap that should never ever EVER see the light of day" trash bin. Granted, these remixes aren't super-grand brilliant masterpiece works of genius either, but then again, I never expected them to be in the first place.
I think the remixes are more listenable than the crap remixes on the BOTDF cd--now those remixes were wack IMO PYT is the best remix out of all of them in my opinion. Maybe its because the primary vocals on these remixes are done by Will.i.am, Akon, Kanye and Fergie--with Mike's vocals being kinda more in the background--the reason why people hate them? If these remixes were mixed the same way, but instead included MORE and NEW vocals from Michael in them, and less vocals from Will.i.am, Kanye, and Akon I wonder if people would love them instead of hate them MJ L.O.V.E: https://www.facebook.com/...689&type=2 / YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/us...nderSilent

Michael is mostly deserving of all the wrath for allowing this and thinking its okay to keep putting out re-releases and not enough new music. Michael needs to get his ass whupped for this, but Akon and Fergie, hell even Kanye knew better than this shit! I like Will I Am because he actually has a love for music. You can see it when he performs or even talks about it. Kanye does too, but he's driven more by the need for attention. Akon and Fergie are pieces of shit and need to get thrown off a cliff along with Britney Spears, Hanna Montana, Sean Kingston, Ashlee Simpson, Bow Wow, Chris Brown, T-Pain, R.
