I like Wills remixes
will Michael be in the videos? I hope he isnt, cause the critics will bash him for making his comeback as a thriller remix video.
I picture the video like kanyes good life for the girl is mine

At least they'll have a good tag line:

R.I.P. Thriller rose dove

"The greatest-selling album of all time succumb to a piece of shit by five assailants today. The assailants: Akon, 35, Will.I.Am, 33, Fergie, 26, Kanye West, 30 and Michael Jackson, 49, were last seen putting "Thriller" into a ditch and buried it while the original album, which filled up nine songs, kept playing until newer sounds of what was supposed to be a renewed "Thriller" kilt it altogether. The assailants were last seen with the "Off the Wall" album which they stole from Quincy Jones' basement. Jones, who reported the cops on the assailants, said losing "Thriller" to this heinous crime was unforgivable. "They did something with 'Thriller' that not even young kids would even like, they just totally killed its spirit, man, and now "Off the Wall" is gone too and they're taking it to an unknown location." Jones, 74, had no comment on Jackson, who helped to release the album when it originally came out in 1982. Jackson was seen walking out of Jones' home with post-its on his hat. There's a $104 million reward over the capture of the five assailants. And there could be a sixth culprit: Epic Records, which was said to help orchestrate the hit. Executives from the flagrant company refused comment."

Well, I listened to three of the remixes. TGIM is alright. I never cared too much for the original, so I really don't care what Will I Am does with it. Not bad. PYT gets some points for using the cool demo vocals. Billie Jean is actually interesting to me because it highlights the string work on the instrumental, which I've always loved. I heard enough of that Ako(r)n remix in the preview to not want to ever hear a full version. And I think I'll just stay away from Beat It.

Overall, the three remixes I did hear have the potential to be club hits. I don't mind listening to them. But I wouldn't, you know, buy them. smile
Michael never stopped!

lmfao timmy, did you write that? It's hilarious, though I can tolerate the mixes somewhat. I still think it's a good move though. The songs sound like shit to us, so the younger ones will like it and put it on their ipods, and may end up checking out the originals and discovering that they are so much better.

I think this just goes to show how untalented the current crop of hitmakers in music really are.

The only remix that is decent is The Girl Is Mine and that's only because it retains elements from the demo of The Girl Is Mine (which kicks major arse and should have been on the album instead of these shitty remixes).

well thanks for admitting but I kind of do like the mixes, though they're definitely not mindblowing like the originals. Beat It and Billie Jean are my favourite from the remixes. The akon one is the worst one.
