I bought quite a few CD's this year, but I don't have a top ten, I have six. I have to say, tho, even though it didn't quite measure up to what I thought it would, the fact that Manson, NIN, and Pumpkins all released an album this year was cool as the other side of the pillow. In order:
Meshell Ndegeocello - The World Has Made Me The Man Of My Dreams Nine Inch Nails - Year Zero THESE TWO ALBUMS ROCKED MY WORLD LIKE MUSIC SHOULD ROCK A PERSON'S WORLD. The rest are just good albums. Otep - The Ascension Marilyn Manson - Eat Me, Drink Me Smashing Pumpkins - Zeitgeist Prince - Planet Earth Planet Earth is in my iPod again, but I don't listen to it very much. The whole PFU deal worked my nerves with him, and so I am finding myself gravitating to all the old stuff. I actually sold a lot of my Prince CD's, except for my fave 5.

1. Radiohead -- In Rainbows
2. Annie Lennox -- Songs of Mass Destruction 3. NIN -- Year Zero 4. Smashing Pumpkins -- Zeitgeist That's about all I can remember from 2007 aside from Planet Earth, which sucked. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

1) Robert Wyatt – Comicopera 2) Bill Callahan – Woke on a Whaleheart 3) Von Sudenfed – Tromatic Reflexxions 4) Panda Bear – Person Pitch 5) High Llamas – Can Cladders 6) The Clientele – God Save the Clientele 7) The National – Boxer 8) Caribou – Andorra 9) Battles – Mirrored 10) Britta Phillips and Dean Wareham – Back Numbers [Edited 12/26/07 6:49am] You win again. I haven't heard of ANY of these. I may have heard the names Panda Bear, High Llamas, The Clientele and The National tossed around in snobby circles though. Panda Bear sounds interesting after listening to a few samples.

I checked out a few tracks and it's blah to me, but if you like vanilla neo-soul and you'll listen to Chaka sing the phone book because you love her, then get it.
