Another album from Alicia..

coming relatively soon..

And don't expect to wait another four years for her next work.

"I would really like to put out another album relatively soon. Something that's a bit more stripped back. . . . I already have about six or seven records for it that I love. I just want to keep creating. . . . The last record and the last tour, I went so hard that I kind of took away that side of me. And when it came time to come back around to create again it took me a while to find my groove. I just don't want to ever get that far away from it again."

You see this is the way everyone needs to think, not just Ryan Adams. I dont view doing an album or two a year flooding the market, all thats getting flooded is the label. There are two ways to do this, one you can be like Ryan adams and record as you see fit, sometimes he might do an album a year sometimes three, thats how you grow. The other way which i feel is overkill, is what Beyonce does, though i love her, she hits us with an album, then a re-issue than 2 dvds, than a movie, than a fragrance, for the most part that is an overkill,an will not lead to growing as a musical artist, sometimes you need to really limit the focus, i think with Alicia she needs to figure where she will go, to the Beyonce mold, or to the mold of generations past, an album or two a year.

I agree, Since she said that it will be more stripped I think she'll hopefully do the releasing of music without all of the extra. I think she can pull it off and is this Ryan guy getting better with the constant releases?

the thing with Ryan is that he has been around for awhile, he was in the group Whiskeytown in the 90's and then went solo in 2000 since then he has had 9 full albums and 5 eps to date, and a box set coming out next year. I feel he's always getting better, you are always getting something that the last record didnt have, i feel that way about anyone who does alot of recording. He is very well respected in the music world, as being one of the best artists of this decade.

She might be overrated but she's no garbage smile I'd listen to Alicia rather than Beyoncé or Rhianna any day nod

Mariah is hot nod
