How soon should confirmation be coming?
I really hope this either HAPPENS and the truth about it is revealed quickly, or they deny quickly.

I hate the rumors and waiting. Everything can change for MJ in a single day. UGH! Frusterating! mad

I rally don't know what the fuck's up with Michael and his camp. They're quick to deny a personal rumor but when it comes to professional shit, they're foaming at the mouth. lol The fuck's going on, man? lol

There will be a denial, and then probably a tour schedule popping up. Personally, I am still cynical about any of this happening. In every interview Michael gives, he mentions how he hates touring.

Michael's problem is he's been dancing more than singing in his last few tours and while exciting, I think why he doesn't perform anymore is because he had injuries while dancing and his voice gets really shaky now live where it used to be so crystal clear. IMO, if he really was set to perform, he could have a serious trainer to help him, he could be focus on rehearsal and he'll be motivated to do something great. Even if most of the time he's singing. What happened to him working with Seth Riggs. He could be needed to help him.

I agree. Like someone said earlier, he can train his vocals to make them stronger. He can exercise to be in shape. The dancing and the singing will not be the same as it was on the Destiny, Triumph, Victory, and Bad tours, but with practice, he can still be an excellent entertainer.

Which hurts me whenever I hear about ANY tour and see the words "not true at the moment". It tears me up because I know the man just ain't plain giving up but if he is retiring, he's doing a poor job of it. neutral

I know. neutral

But I think 2008 will be an interesting year. With the release of Thriller 25 (as bad as the remixes are -- DAMN YOU WEST, AKON, and FERGIE!) and the promotion... things should get interesting.

This post is more fitting for the other thread, but who cares, since this is a MJ thread as well.

But I think West on purpose did a shitty job on Billie Jean. That bastard.

Swap "Smile" for "Scream" and I'm right there with you. However, it won't happen. I'm doubtful of these shows in general, let alone, this amazing set-list.
