This must be a scary time for Jamie Lynn Spears. I can't say too many negative things. I know as a teenage boy I was running around trying to get every 16 year old girl I could find - at times younger. I wasn't always responsible and could have had children at an early age.

I want to say something tho..I think its wrong to blame the mother for the way that the kids turned out. I feel that once a child reaches 18, then its up to them to either use what they're taught or reject it. It took me a good 7 yrs for me to return to my senses and the teaching of my parents after I turned 18.

Now, I think that the mom should have had better control over her underaged daughter but I dont think the reason that Jamie is pregnant is 100 percent the mothers fault..also, where is the Spears girls father?

Honestly though, while I'm all for personal responsibility, the media has a big role in how these girls are perceived. Non-stop publicity for even the simplest of things? How many of us can stand that kind of scrutiny at 15? At 16? At 21?

Enough is enough of these tabloid stalkers that take pictures of them every goddamn minute. Yeah, they may not be the most sophisticated people in the world, but the media builds them up and then tears them down, just to sell magazines and ad space.

And let's be careful when we use words like "whore" and "slut" when we're talking about a 16 year old girl. Far as I know, she wasn't selling it, and those of you who were *not* having teenage sex, please raise your hands.
