I think this is a very good look for Beyonce and if she was to record her whole next album with her band in the studio she could really do great things. I don't blame her for keeping her band members! Those women held it down, especially that guitar playing, afro wearing, fierce ass woman!

Beyonce does need to disappear BUT she's not really doing anything differently than Prince or other artist who would release an album every year.
We just have more media.....internet, video, ipods, etc.

I actually like Lil Wayne and I think what he's doing with his constant release of music is genius. Beyonce floods the market in a totally different way because it's the music, movie deals, commercials, radio-overplay, 6-7 videos, 100 awards, new made-up dances and etc. I don't think anyone is on her level when it comes to flooding the market. If she would just tone it down she would be fine. I kinda think its the other way around because I always hear him on somebody elses remix or somebody's always quoting his lyrics and Beyonce on other hand isn't like tat in my opinion...Maybe because I don't watch TV a lot but you get the point.

Again i'll extolled the skills and background of Beyonce's 2 excellent drummers.
...Nikki Glaspie: http://www.myspace.com/nikkiglaspie Brenda Russell Greg Phillinganes Martin Luther Dave Fuczyinski Vernon Reid Karl Denson Soulive ...Kim Thompson: http://www.kimthompson.info/ Mike Stern Meshell N'Degeocello Roy Hargrove Richard Bona Wallace Roney Kenny Barron Marian McPartland Rufus Reid This is a good move for Beyonce. I'm glad to see that she's using real players and not eye-candy fakers for the sake of the "All Female Band" concept. To keep a band like this together (unless they're on retainer), she's gotta keep them working. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 [Edited 12/19/07 14:55pm] "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. Yeah, I didn't know that. But, I'm good. Just looking around here, I guess. It's still dark, but it's four in the morning, nearly five. The sun doesn't shine until 7:00 because of daylight savings time's beginning, here. I've said too much, haven't I?

I think this is a very good look for Beyonce and if she was to record her whole next album with her band in the studio she could really do great things. I'm sure her record label wouldn't like that. Performing with a band in concert is one thing, however, recording with a band in the studio means the music will be heard by millions of people, not just the ones attending concerts. If it was to be successful and catch on, the general public would be wanting more music from bands (which would cost more money) and all the shit hoppers would be working at McDonald's.
