Bowie's influence on the Talking Heads work...

I'm now listening to their cover of Take me to the river...it stink in late 70's/early 80's Bowie! eek

the only connection i can think of would be eno, who collaborated with bowie on low, heroes and lodger (i think he did not produce these albums, did he?) and - at the same time - was producing more songs..., fom and ril.
hmm, i do not hear much bowie out of talking heads... but same era, so...

The "Berlin trilogy" was produced by Tony Visconti. However, the definition of a "producer" was about to change during that time to a more active role in the music-making process, largely due to a very different approach demanded in electronic music production. So it could be said retroactively that he did indeed "produce" them alongside Viscontu.

No. The reason why some called the dark period was because of the heavy used of drugs involved.

My fav album by Talking Heads is Fear of Music. Eno brought out some really great stuff from Byrne.

Try it in 5.1.... superb

I don't hear to much Bowie in the heads other than both were not afraid to conquer any genre and both used minimalistic instrumentation in the late 70's.
Music is the best...
