I saw the title of the thread..It was very simple..and i gave a very simple answer...The first things that came into my head actually...and they are all facts in my eyes..and not rude in any way.. !

she is not YOUNG compared to many NEWISH artists discussed on this board..
she does have a great band behind her..
They are all friends and associates of mine..(a few even play in my band)
and she is not TYPICALLY "Pretty" in the modern sense of the word.."when talking about HOT NEWISH Artists..

100 Days & 100 Night has been in my player for about 2 weeks now. I just found out about her and the Dap Kings not too long ago. Love her voice and the emotion she brings to what she is singing.

I loved the 100 Days & 100 Nights song, but for some strange reason I overlooked their new album. Sooner or later I'll pick it up because Sharon has one incredible voice with lots of soulful power.
