You just can't put people in a group like that. There are MJ fans that think he's wacky. There are MJ fans that think he's God. There are MJ fans that think he's a good person with some personal demons. I am the latter. But all MJ fans are different. Just as all people are different. It's ridiculous how MJ fans get put into a group and stereotyped to the point that most people would find disgusting if it was any other group of people (whites, blacks, gays, the elderly). So just think next time before you go shooting your mouth off and making yourself look like a narrow minded idiot.

Is it confusion or loyalty? There is a difference. I think MJ fans are loyal fans. They are however well aware that the man is in need of help, but realize his past, has alot to do with his present and that only he can come to the realization that he needs help. It's their "loyalty" that leads to their confusion. They have so much invested in him that they willingly distort reality to preserve the positive image of their idol. The key thing is though, they do this WITHOUT REALISING IT. These people have ZERO self awareness. For instance embattledwarrior comes in here with an alibi for Mike and they all accept it WITHOUT ASKING ANY QUESTIONS. Apparently it's common knowledge that Mike has UV treatments twice a month and yet NO-ONE here has heard it before. Yet with zero evidence, they accept it. When you look at the list of established facts they are happy to ignore, and then look at the bullshit they uncritically swallow, you see just what effect their "loyalty" has had on their common sense. “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”

at every mention of post-its
to see him this way First thing he reminded me of was Katherine Hepburn in her later days and a cross between a starlet who became that eccentric reclusive star that everyone use to love but now just whispers about when they see her about town. Which is worst? ----- fcukthepolice said: Copycat said: Despite Michael's penchant for the bizarre, he hasn't sent any baseless legal notices to his fan sites like a certain egomaniac we know.
Yeah MJ treats his fans way better than a certian megalomaniac who's name i dare not say of course apart from the boys he fancies.

Here we go again For the millionth time,Michael Jackson is in the news for something that has absolutely nothing to do with his music.Surely, even he must be tired of going down this same, old road?! Why does he keep allowing his odd behavior/appearance to get all the attention? This shit is getting TIRED!!
Just for once, wouldn't it nice to see him in news for making a good song for a change? Wouldn't it be nice to see him getting attention for a kickass acoustic performance? Wouldn't it be nice to see him in the media getting rave reviews for an outstanding album?? Michael seriously needs to sit down and re-evaluate his career strategy. Is this really the way that he wants to go out....constantly getting attention for senseless bullshit like this? I refuse to believe that this is how he wants to be remembered. MJ fans...y'all need to do an intervention or something!

The disconnect started when he started calling himself the "King of Pop". That rubbed me the wrong way, kinda like he was better than everyone else. Then with the child molestation stuff, that made me look at him real strange but then came HIStory. With the exception of a few songs, I knew it was the end. Forget about Invincible, what garbage, minus 4 songs. For as much as I look at MJ today in disgust, I respect the music in the past and I even buy what he releases hoping it will hit me again but I think it won't him me like Bad hit me or Thriller or even Dangerous. It's a shame. [Edited 12/18/07 7:03am] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Let the man be. As long as he doesn't complain about the media and their coverage I guess he is fine with it and so should we. He is so Desperate to get on TV again!
NONE of his "Jacko Stunts" have made it to the Entertainment Shows for almost a year now. Brintey Spears is younger, so she has taken over his invention of Cheap - Quick Fix - Lazy/Lets get some Press Media tricks. Pretty sad. If this doesnt make it on tv then he IS totally 100% over! We all know he isnt ever going to get any press for anything in the music field. Because he is lazy and the little boys sucked the talent out of him. His only chance is leaving the house looking like this! 1) Surgical Masks dont get him in the newspaper in 2007 like it used to in 1987. 2) He even had his kids unmasked. Just desperate for the Entertainment Media to comment. I bet he googled his name in the news section & taped E! - Showbiz Today - ET hoping they even mentioned him. I think this idea to get press came from this article on December 11th, 2007: http://www.dailymail.co.u...ge_id=1773 "Sitting with a group of friends at Aldo's Italian restaurant in Wyckoff, New Jersey, the small figure in their midst was defending his reputation as a global superstar: "I know it looks like I'm not popular anymore but, trust me, if I wanted attention, I could get it. "One call and there'd be paparazzi all over the place." Everyone at the table was silent, shifting awkwardly in their seats. "I'll make the call now," the man continued, gesturing for a security guard to hand him a phone. "Watch what happens." It was the final straw. "No. Don't do it, Mike," pleaded one of the diners. "We believe you." Smiling, the man handed the phone back to his functionary. "OK, but if you ever want me to prove it, just say the word." It was, to say the least, a curious display from a man who was once the greatest pop talent in the world. For that anonymous figure in a suburban New Jersey eatery was Michael Jackson..." ===== ONE WEEK LATER He Leaves the House Looking Like this! [Edited 12/18/07 7:21am]

[Edited 12/18/07 7:16am] If that's the case then what a way and a fucked up way at that, to try and sell records. True. But see this is Mike's infamous way of "grabbing the spotlight" so to speak. True, he was probably doing that for his kids but in another way, this was his strategy for the last four albums and now he's trying to do that with "Thriller", he already grabbed attention by having will.i.am, Akon, Fergie and Kanye on it and now he finds the perfect chance to say "oh I can still shock". I'm a fan of his music, really. But I don't live his crazy lifestyle so I can't judge too harshly. Because if I walked around with post-its or whatever he had on his face, they call me lazy. With Michael, they say ANYTHING BUT THAT.
