I can't stand movie posters anymore. They're all the same - floating faces in a profile that give you absolutely no clue what the movie's about.
Anyway, I like her earrings. They're straight up 1990, like she should be in a BBD video.

From that Movie poster all i can say is that it looks a film that Sophia Bush turned down and they got Mariah as a last resort. It just has that look of a teen type appeal movie, really bad poster. This is the movie that Janet Jackson walked away from

the bigger problem with this poster is that fact that shes on it, meaning that if the movie sucks and does bad and gets bad reviews, they are going to blame her, not the director/writer and the other cast that have bigger parts, it will all be on her. This is not going to be a big film and I doubt this will be a bit hit by commercial standards. It will most likely be a small film with a small release and it will get acclaim or it won't. I am interested whether Mariah is in it or not but undoubtedly she will garner it more attention. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

she was butchered for Glitter because that project revolved around her. but Wise Girls for instance, not all the reviews i read praised it but also i don't recall any of them trying to blame not liking it for her being in it. and she had her picture on that film's poster and even worse, it was right after the Glitter fiasco. i think whoever tries to spin things that way have some serious issues, not to mention no one will care anyway.

Yep! This is an Indie project, which is right up her alley since the indie thing REALLY works like a charm for her. I'm pretty hyped about this project not only because its Mariah's comeback to films but also, because its a Lee Daniels project. Speaking of Janet, she wasn't the 1st one recruited for the role, Whitney was recruited for it long before all of them This project was in the works from 2002. In fact, I remember distinctly reading the article from EURweb.

She looks so.....masculine-ish "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Why Did I Get Married will probably end up being the better movie of the two.

Harlepolis said: I'm supriced I beat PricelessHo to this I have seen only few lil moments of Mariah acting and I never thought she had any acting talent whatsoever. And looking at this poster, i can´t imagine her in this type of film. I´ll have to watch it, I guess. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

Can I get a "Duh!" for alphastreet? I can't compare the two. Two completely different vehicles from two extremely different filmmakers. [Edited 12/18/07 6:18am] Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off
