Robin Thicke He seems to have a genuine love for real R&B music.Yeah, there are a few hip-hop cameos on his album (which I always skip, lol)but for the most part,he makes genuine R&B music, inspired by folks like Al Green,Marvin Gaye, etc.Songs like "Lost Without U","I Need Love" and "Can U Believe" are undeniably soulful and sincere.
Jon B,on the other hand, always seemed like he was more interested in "shit hop R&B" Granted,I haven't heard all of his albums, but the songs I did hear don't sound like genuine R&B to me.

Neither!
They both have a few decent songs, but I can tell there is no real longevity there.

They're both second rate wiggers. At least Vanilla Ice was entertaining. These wannabees don't even have that going for them. “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”

The guy gets under my skin. It's irrational, but he bugs me. That manicured facial hair, the close-cropped hair, the pursed lips...it's all too much. On top of all that, I didn't like his music and still don't. I never paid enough attention to Ali G to care, but he must've been the inspiration. I couldn't give a flying flip if he were short though.

But, anyway, I agree about Robin Thicke. Although, the guy could work on his live vox, a little bit. And, if he's going to dance, he needs to actually have some sense of rhythm because, right now, he doesn't.
