this is the most ACCURATE comparison I've heard anyone make to Ja Rule's "musical" ability..

you nailed it!
smile

it's bad enough that he's
STILL
on every other song heard on the radio..
I'd say his 15 minutes should have been up about an hour ago..
that's the good thing about the radio-
you can always turn it off

which is exactly what J rule's "music" makes me want to do...
I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..

Ja Rule is a total rip off of Craig Mack. He was formerly with Bad Boy Records. His album entitled "Project: Funk da World" came out in about 1994. It was something different for the time.

Ja Rule went so far as to use some of the same lyrics as Craig Mack in the J. Lo song "Ain't It Funny." The background music even sampled "Flava In Yo Ear" by Craig Mack.

If I was Craig Mack (who knows where he is), I would pissed as hell that someone was so blatantly using the sound I created and taking credit for it. Ja Rule is not the originator.

I thought I was the only one that noticed. And so did Tone Loc.

Now what starts with the letter C?
Cookie starts with C
Let's think of other things that starts with C
Uh ahh who cares about the other things

C is for cookie that's good enough for me
C is for cookie that's good enough for me
C is for cookie that's good enough for me

Ohh cookie cookie cookie starts with C

Ohh C is for cookie that's good enough for me
C is for cookie that's good enough for me
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me

Ohh, cookie cookie cookie starts with C

Hey, you know what
A round cookie with one bite out of it looks like a C
A round donut with one bite out of it also looks like a C,
But it is not as good as a cookie
Oh, and the moon sometimes looks like a C,
But you can't eat that

So, C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me

Ohh, cookie cookie cookie starts with C
Yeah, cookie cookie cookie starts with C
Oh boy, cookie cookie cookie starts with C

Arr arr, yum yum yum

Gotta love that Cookie Monster.

I think Ja Rule's voice works well with Ashanti and I think he's cool. I also dig Robert Smith and think the Cure are Awesome. They happen to be Excellent in Concert.
