Never mind the muppet. Look at that Whitney pic on top. Man, that brings back some memories. Facially, Whitney was definitely one of the most beautiful starlets ever. “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”

There are some really gorgeous colour shots of her. There is also a 2-page poster of Luther Vandross in a purple sequinned sweater wearing mascara and eyeliner.

Wow, I was 8 yrs old when was here in my hometown tearing it up back then. It doesn't seem that long ago but yet it was. Funny How Times Flies (When Your Having Fun).
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I remember my Mom buying me Black Beat and Right On magazine all the time and at that time Janet, along with Prince and MJ, was on the cover and all in the magazines all the time. Those were the good old days and boy do I miss them. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

My friend just asked me if Jody was on Soul Train the other day. He taped it and we watched it and it was she and Jeffery Daniels bopping up and down on that episode with BT Express. I miss the old days. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

OMG I was there. It wasn't really a concert, she was the guest at an Ice Capades show, She went on last and sang(lip synced) Control and Nasty. I remember it was a blizzard that day. "POOR IS THE MAN WHO'S PLEASURES DEPEND ON THE PERMISSION OF ANOTHER" Madonna

I know cause I went to Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey circus with my Grandparents that year. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I thought it was the circus because I don't think I'd ever seen the Ice Capades. I think I had one of those little flash lights that people like to swing around. Didn't she do What Have You Done for Me Lately? too? You were 8 and you remember all that? Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

It wasn't the circus, it was Ice Capades. I remember my mom calling me crazy for going out in the snow to NYC to see Janet do 3 songs. As a matter a fact, I think the show was sponcered by 98.7 kissfm. "POOR IS THE MAN WHO'S PLEASURES DEPEND ON THE PERMISSION OF ANOTHER" Madonna

So I'm thinking she must have done 2 performances: one after the Ice Capades and one after the circus. I never knew that. I thought it was her only performance (at least in NYC) at that time. Either way, pretty interesting to see how far she's come from a simple shoulder shimmy to a performing icon. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off
