I remember being reeeally little and having the Donny & Marie dolls. If I'm not mistaken my mama bought my Marie doll a dress similar to what she's wearing here
Watching this made me nostalgic. I miss singers that had pretty voices and didn't have to break out in those Paula Abdul dance isolations that eventually took over modern day stage performing. I even remember watching Donnie & Marie's 90's show once when they did backing vocals for guest performer Brian Mcknight; their harmonies were INSANE . The 3 part harmonies were soooo TIGHT...I miss seeing people sing like that. It's definitely not the easiest thing to pull off if you're tone deaf or don't have good pitch, it's really a shame we don't see more of that in contemporary music | |
