Laurn Hill MTV Unplugged??

I have been debating for months now whether to buy Laurens' latest cd. What do y'all think of it?? I really liked her first solo cd and I am a fan of the Fugees but her latest cd has gotten a lot of flack. Is it worth it?? Should I buy?

It's all acoustic, obviously, err . I did not enjoy it nearly as much as her first. To me, it was completely incoherent.. the music was ok.. maybe one song really struck me.. the lyrics are just .. bad, imo. I wouldn't get it unless u are a DIE hard lauryn fan.

ThreadBare

under-produced, poorly executed but apparently close to her heart and necessary in her evolution as an artist.

Be that as it may, I'm passing it up. I hope she finds a way (in her next release, if there is one) to stay true to the content of her second one while returning to the flavor of the debut.

But, I'm the cat still hoping the Sundays and Dionne Farris will give us another album...
