Eric Clapton - Crossroads Guitar Festival 2007 DVD

I caught part of this on PBS the other night.
Some great performances all around but there were 2 standouts based on the segments I saw.

1) Albert Lee sitting in with Vince Gill.
2) The Jeff Beck set. Nobody plays like this guy.
I've called him a "Ballad Killer" in the past but his masterful Crossroads take on Cause We've Ended As Lovers graduated him to "Ballad Crusher".

I'd cop this DVD for those 2 segments alone.

Jeff Beck's "Jeff" album is the bomb. My track is "Bulgaria."

That young sister is Tal Wilkenfeld.

Here, she holds her own with Marcus Miller.

Got it for my boyfriend for his birthday, and he loved it (thanks for the recommend, tA)! He does not pretty up his life at all in the book. Apparently he and Ronnie Spector had a flirty relationship but never sealed the deal as they were both otherwise involved. Yeah...cuz that'll stop ya. lol

He plays guitar during Clapton's set along with Derek Trucks.
