Like I said earlier, I ain't getting it. I refuse to let a remix make me like it when the original is 100X better anyways.

One more thing, for something as big as a 25th anniversary CD, MJ should have thought to have put in any and all of the outtakes from the Thriller Era into this new CD. That would make me and many other people want to pick this up. Instead, Michael wants to tread water and repeat "HIStory". I just makes someone like me want to continue to look down on him. He just squandered an incredible opportunity with this. Damn Mike.

If you think that these remixes will ruin classics then you guys know nothing about music and how the music industry works, classics will always be classics not no matter how many remixes they make , sony music did horrible remixes of stranger in moscow and released it on an internationally remix album Blood on the dance floor , Did that changed the fact the stranger in moscow still a classic ? its still a classic despite the horrible remix.....

you would think they would consult Quincy and ask him his opinions on a special edition.

In my opinion, they truly fucked this up and MJ is a complete idiot for screwing this opportunity up.

He should have done the following as a bare minimum:

Thriller the Ultimate Edition
CD 1 with all the original songs

CD 2 with the unreleased songs, and possibly some alternate versions/remixes etc.

DVD: The making of Thriller, Documentary on the success of Thriller & its influence. Commentaries with Rod Temperton & Quincy Jones.

And then he could possibly have created new videos to accompany the songs which never had videos the first time around.


He could have then done some interviews, a few one off shows, small tour.

But no, he has to get Gaykon and Wanker West and Willy "I am cock".
