My favorite this year might be Claudja Barry's "Feliz Navidad"! It's a lot of fun! It's a disco verison and while most of the tracks on that album are Claudja singing in one style throughout without edits to a sort of tacky mid ninties verison of disco, she and the producers have a lot of fun with this one.

Of all time, maybe the entire "Charlie Brown Christmas" album.

UK Vote.

Slade obviously and then Wizzard. Kirsty McColl and Shane McGowan? And let's not forget Wham's 'Last Christmas'.

Depends on whether it's an open-fire-Christmas-Eve-Glass-of-wine song or a Christmas-morning-10am-bottle-of-beer-and-preparing-dinner song really.

Thank fuck Prince has never released a Christmas song. No chance now he's found a different rule book on God.

As for nice Christmas music, well I'm very lucky to live in a Cathedral city so can listen to the choir performing. They still ask for money though which seems a bit off as the roof looks fine to me.

Not even that tasty bird running around in the snow in the santa outfit? The one who now has a huge butt and looks a bit weird. Sings really high and scares small children. You know the one. Maria Carey is it?

We don't get that one in the UK. We do get Cheeky Christmas though. And you know the odd thing about them? Neither of them look fuckable to me. Far too skinny and shapeless. Even in gold hotpants.

I love this most recent classic Xmas song:

Here's a cute alternate version:

This technically isn't a Christmas song, but I love the video:

But this most recent video has become one of my favorite Xmas songs:

So Fairytale of New York has been edited by the Beeb as the word 'faggot' may offend some people. Also they've edited 'old slag on junk'. I'm going to complain as I don't like the word 'Fairy' and reckon it's offensive to poofters.

Honestly is the world so fucking up its own arse? It's a good job normal people aren't allowed to have these jobs of power or else we'd hear and see all sorts of horrid things. Like Hostel or Wolf Creek or the US and Britain invading turmoiled countries to plunder their wealth. Or worse still we'd have Big Brother and its cast of human misfits!

some bullshit I say, though I always found the "I could have been someone", "Well So could anyone." the harshest line in the song.

"Santa Baby" is one of my least fav. songs, regardless who's singing it, including Eartha. eek I think Heidi Klum put the nail in the coffin for that song. There's a trip-hop remix to Eartha Kitt's version that's really nice.....I actually like that one over the original. Booker T & the MG's version of "Merry Christmas Baby" is another favorite, more so than "Jingle Bells". It's so bluesy & sexy.....not a traditional sounding Christmas song. Motown, Remixed, New Wave.....I don't mind those Christmas songs. I'm just not into the traditional "sing along" ones.
