This just in from the other side of the pillow - an appreciation thread for "Engineers". I first heard this amazing group when I was in San Francisco a couple years ago, and I actually stayed in the store extra long because I was diggin' the sounds I was hearing from their debut album. So I asked about the album, and when they had a copy, I snatched that puppy up but quick. I took it back to the place I was staying, and listened to it about 50 times in the following month. Basically, this group is one of the biggest things to hit music since Nirvana, IMHO. Even though they are compared to The Verve and other groups of that ilk, they really are in a class by themselves. They had two minor import hits in 05 - "Home" and "Come In Out Of the Rain" (which you can youtube). Anyone else like this group?
