only thing i have, is that i have almost every concert i have been at , on my pc, a small joy lol

And yes, there are some great lists here! There is still so much more I need to see!

I well orgnote it to you as this thread is not about Prince shows, but other artists shows rose. I really wish I had a list of the concerts of all artists I have seen sad.

I had a ticket to SoTT in London, but as we all know, the little fecker cancelled it, then the following year my mother refused point blank to get me a ticket for lovesexy 1) Coz she did not see the logic in paying 100 pounds for a black market ticket 2) she believed the story about he eating bees in a graveyard. So that summer, I had to make do with seeing MJ in concert, which is to this day, still the worst concert I was ever at, not coz dislike MJ, but for me he does not cut it live, although during the interval, his band played "its gonna be a beautiful night", which was sorta cool.

Maybe you could send me the list of concerts you were at, I have a concert on vid from Vienna in 1993, would be curious what your thoughts were on that concert. I also have some stuff from the Sott era in Vienna.

I remember wanting to go to Monchengladbach in 93, for the rock over germany concert, but i coudnt get off work. I managed to get that after, and I have the feeling that 93 was not a very good tour.

Did you get a chance to see any of the 21 nights concerts? and the aftershows you mention, was one of those the U4 aftershow in 1987?

BTW sorry that this post is so long winded and full of questions wink lol

Oh my, wow those are extreme long lists, should I even bother mentioning my concerts.

U2 (4x)
Texas (2x)
Prince (8x)
Ricky Martin (1x) giggle it was actually quite good
Andre Rieu (1x)
Santana (1x)

I had tickets to INXS this year but one of the bandmembers broke his leg.

Not comparable. I love both live but I'm a Princefan, there comes some admiration looking around the corner and something sexual.
U2 is show and emotion and very good music. They are all cool and I like the human aspect of Bono. I'm mad about Achtung Baby.
We have all their CD's (my husband knows all songs), I must say, their shows have given me goosebums and tears in my eyes, Prince hasn't. It's completely different.

That sucks about concerts that were cancelled pat. I also had tickets to some concerts that were cancelled and once I even drove to Udine because I had no idea the show was cancelled and when we found out we drove back the same night sad. Btw I usually got no refund mad .
Yes I was at the U4, first row center less than half a meter away from Prince cool . When he came out on stage he even talked to me and my friend who was standing next to me.
I have no special memories of the 1993 Vienna show, but the aftershow in the "Technisches Museum" was pretty cool.
No, I didn't see any of the 21 nights concerts.
I'll orgnote you the list wink .
Just like you I attended one Michael Jackson concert and it was quite boring IMO. More as if I was watching television that being at a show disbelief. The 2 Janet shows I have been to were quite entertaining though lol .

prince has always acted like this, it comes with the territory, although he should be abit more sensitive after releasing the worst LP (PE) of his career, as for placebo, they are decent band live, but nothing to write home about, as for NIN, have not seen them live, so i cant judge but i think that Trent being a prince fan, would make them quite interesting to see live, BUT if NIN do anything like Rammstein, all you have to do is buy loads of fireworks and have your stereo up LOUD wink

Yes! They are crazy! I saw them before they hit it big! They were supporting Clawfinger in a small club (a year later Clawfinger was supporting them in a huge arena 10 times as big), which they almost set on fire! They used that fire spraying thingy and Till was spraying into the audience and the peeps in the front row, who stood about 1 and a half meters away were totally shocked, jumped away and knelt on the floor putting they're hands above their heads... it looked hysterical! After he was done spraying at them, he sprayed into the air and on the ceiling around the lights there where cables, which had quite a lot of dust on it, which caught fire... security was running around with fire extinguishers! It was crazy! Thank god it didn't catch real fire.... it died down on its own! Otherwise we would have had another Great White scenario!
