I begged my parents to let me go to the Rhythm Nation tour, but they wouldn't shell out the money. That was the reason they gave - too pricey. But I know the real reason is that they didn't feel like chaperoning me. Years later, my mom and I were in a scary part of downtown Detroit buying 12th row scalper's tickets to the janet. tour. I had my mom trained by the end of my teenage years. Man, the stories I could tell you. | |
