Whoa. You're making me feel old. I begged my parents to let me go to the Rhythm Nation tour, but they wouldn't shell out the money. That was the reason they gave - too pricey. But I know the real reason is that they didn't feel like chaperoning me. Years later, my mom and I were in a scary part of downtown Detroit buying 12th row scalper's tickets to the janet. tour. I had my mom trained by the end of my teenage years. Man, the stories I could tell you.

I can't imagine Janet singing "Stranger In Moscow" or "They Don't Care About Us" just like I can't imagine MJ singing "Feedback" or "So Excited." I can just imagine MJ belting out Feedback "Strum me like a guitar, blow out my amplifier"

If you think of it, remind me or Ian to tell you about the time we stayed at the same hotel as janet in the room just beneath her. It was surreal hanging out in the hotel lobby with Tina and Tish.

I like it. She doesn't sound pathetic for the first time in awhile. I see signs of life. Praise Jesus! "Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you." - Kahlil Gibran

But this is definitely a step in the right direction. It's like "So Excited" if that hadn't sounded like nails on a chalkboard. Y'know? sorry...but it does sound like a britney`s left over! I`m sad 2 say it...I like janet and supported her even through the last albums...but shit...the lyrics are "so excited part 2"...is that all that she has 2 deliver? and yeah..that`s right repeating the word "sexy" 100 times doesn`t make it sexy...she`s boasting about something she's not anymore...and oooooh...sorry. I`m very disppointed!
