People bitch about MJ having a lot of releases. Pff... What about ELVIS and ELTON JOHN and DAVID BOWIE!

I'll buy anything from Elton and David but I ain't got the money. Hell I wanted to get some Queen but I was always money-short, lol. That's ok, once I get somewhere after college, I'm gonna get paid and then I can buy all the Queen and Elton John and George Michael and Marvin I want. biggrin

Thank God I live in NorCal where we have Amoeba Music, it's not hard to find Elton, GM, Queen, Bowie's stuff cool

Yep! It's the Soul/R&B section. Amoeba actually divided the R&B section from the hip hop, something alot of stores don't do.
There's a huge section for boxsets and it's basically all Marvin, James, Stevie, Michael, and other boxsets like the Stax and Motown boxsets cool

I think that is the great thing about good music in general. Sometimes it appeals to you at certain times of your life, and other times not so much. It seems to be a cycle.

Yep. I found myself listening to less of "Bad", "Dangerous", and haven't put on "HIStory" and "Invincible" in a minute. I don't know why but something about me is feeling the Motown/J5/Jacksons/Off the Wall MJ than the Michael that came after these periods.

Well I'm an all era fan. Some of his music I enjoy more than others but there's something about all his albums that I like/love. However, I do tend to listen his pre-Bad stuff more than his later albums though and I just recently heard this album Ludacris' DJ made of MJ's early years called "Michael Jackson: The Soulful Years" and I am loving it right now music. It's all I've been listening to basically for the past few weeks. His earlier work really is great and it's a shame it doesn't get more recognition confused .
"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart

Saw the box set at lunchtime and it looks very nice nod Lots of killer tunes and from what I can gather there is the single and maybe another song on one side and then a DVD video on the other. I'm actually surprised by it nod

Are you referring to the 'Thriller' 25th anniversary thing...or another set?
