I wonder, has there ever been a funk Christmas album? You know,a collection of holiday classics performed by one of those 70s funk bands?

It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I don't know about an entire funk Christmas album but there are a few funky Christmas songs such as "Jingle Bells" by Booker T and MGs, "Sleigh Ride" by Alexander O'Neil (sounds similar to the song "Fake"), "Up On The Rooftop" by The Jackson Five, "My Christmas Gift" by Margie Joseph, "It Feels Like Christmas to Me" by Al Green, and "Santa Claus Go Straight To The Ghetto" by James Brown.

Then there's "Dear Santa" by The Weather Girls and "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" by The Impressions which are funky disco Christmas jams. "Christmas Rappin" by Kurtis Blow is a funky rap jam. "I'll Be Your Santa" by Rufus Thomas and "Backdoor Santa" by Clarence Carter are funky blues Christmas songs.

Also, don't forget "Santa Claus Is A Black Man" by Akim and The Teddy Van Production Company.

I love this song by the Ohio Players. It's really nice. "Snow Flakes, falling voices calling". Love it.

SugaFoot sounds warm and inviting and so does Junie with his high voice!

My Bad!

I swore it was Junie because he sings high on parliament's "let's play house" so i thought it was Junie.

Billy Beck is the guy with the glasses and the perm or was that Junie. I always get them confused

I got that Bootsy one last year (whenever it came out...I assume it was last year and I think I had to special order it) and it's a lot of fun!

I assume James only made one CHristmas CD and like lots of his material, it gets repackaged to the point where it's hard to tell if there ever was an original source!

It's strange. For some reason I was thinking it came out two years ago because during that Christmas season I was really freaked out about my student teaching. Now that I think about it, I was probably just reflecting on that last year when I bought that...That's how much I think about my excellent experience....not!
