According to an article in the Mississagua News, Blake McGrath has had to reschedule an appearance at a local dance workshop in order to take part in the filming of a new music video for the first single off of Janet's new album, reported to be released this February.

Blake's appearance at The Dance Element workshop, in Milton, Ontario, originally scheduled for next week, has been moved to December 18 to allow for his presence at the filming.

No official announcements have been made about the video, album, single, or filming location. As noted earlier this week however, Janet was spotted in Manhattan having dinner with producer L.A. Reid.

Janet has cut tracks with a shitload of producers for every album since The Velvet Rope. Of course not all of them make the final cut. Her work with Pharrell has never seen the light of day. I was not a big fan of Kanye or Dallas' contributions to Damita Jo, so I doubt their results would have yielded anything better for 20 Y.O.

I agree with that.. NOT with that madonna crap... I truely believe janet does have better songs... and even though it seems people aren't as interested in her as they are madonna.. does NOT mean she should follow madonna... it WILL not work for JJ....

I want her to stay away from rated R lyrics in her songs... i know she is going to have something sexual in her songs... which is ANNOYING.. and gross.. but if she uses imagery/metaphors and I can interpret the lyrics the way i want to then I will be okay ....and all i care about is if I like the music she makes... so i hope she has those nice dance tracks.. and slow love songs...

I just hope whoever worked on this disc realize Janet is much stronger making hip pop records, not trying to work with the mess that is now R&B unless she is doing strong slow to midtempo jams. Until it comes out, we ALL have to wait and hear.
