It's funny how they re-did the cover with Ms. Ross way up in the front. This movie got horrible reviews when it came out back in the day.

It would be nice if they had updated interviews with Diana and Micheal and unseen footage on the making of the movie.

I can't help but to imagine what would Stephanie Mills have done, had she taken the leading role instead of Miss Diane hmmm

I'm not even sure whats her take on the movie or why she wasn't offered the role. I do remember however that she took alot of heat for playing Dorothy and that the critics slammed her as "ugly" and that Judy Garaland should've came back from the dead and SLAP her disbelief lol

For this movie,I think they should have used a younger actress.Diana Ross looked ridiculous trying to play a 15-year old girl disbelief

Then again,in 'Grease',most of those actors are much older than 17,lol.

lol It's like Joan Crawford playing a 40-year-old when she was 60. lol The movie had its fun moments, but I didn't love it. I'll revisit it when this is releases, as it's been a long while since I've seen it.

I never got that. Now get it...she was Diana and it was Motown, right? I was watching it, I'm like "Is she supposed to be playing a young girl"? Distracting. Not terrible musically.

I was just telling my wife about this movie the other day. She'd never heard of it. I watched it when I was about 8 years old, and I've never really seen any other reference to it, but it holds fond memories. I may have to watch it again, although I'm sure it won't be as fun as I remember it being...

- She wasn't a big enough name for the film version and Diana was.

- Most people hated the fact that the musical was "blackened-up".

spit What version did YOU see? The kiddie-porn version? She wasn't playing a 15-year-old, she was a woman - a school teacher - how many 15-year-old school teachers do you know of? eek

Cool!! My daughter loves that movie, watches the vid often, I'm putting the DVD on my list.

Come on and

Ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road
Don't you carry nothing
That might be a load
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road

Come on, ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down, ease on down the road
Don't you carry nothing
That might be a load
Come on, ease on down, ease on down, down the road

Pick your left foot up
When your right foot's down
Come on legs keep movin'
Don't you lose no ground
You just keep on keepin'
On the road that you choose
Don't you give up walkin'
'Cause you gave up shoes, no

Ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road
Don't you carry nothing
That might be a load
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road

'Cause there maybe times
When you think you lost your mind
And the steps you're takin'
Leave you three, four steps behind
But the road you're walking
Might be long sometimes
You just keep on steppin'
And you'll just be fine, yeah

Ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road
Don't you carry nothing
That might be a load
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road

Well there maybe times
When you wish you wasn't born
And you wake one morning
Just to find your courage's gone
But just know that feeling
Only last a little while
You stick with us
And we'll show you how to smile, yeah

Get 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Get 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Get 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Get 'em up, get 'em up ease on down
