Who is Daughtry? I keep hearing/seeing the name Daughtry. Is it the name of a band or a person? Is the lead singer from American Idol? Didn’t he front another band for awhile? Is he/their music any good? Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |

He was picked early on 2 WIN American Idol season 5.
But he was eliminated 2 weeks before the finale... which I still think was uncalled 4. He formed a band called Daughtry. I own their CD. This is some good music in there, but it's not great. Kinda depressing actually, cuz most of them sound like break-up songs 2 me. But he's doing really well. Prince showing up unannounced at the finale completely made up for the fact Chris Daughtry didn't win   had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone | |

This is Chris Daughtry 
he was offered the lead singer spot in the band Fuel, but turned them down to start his own Band Daughtry [Edited 12/6/07 8:55am] | |

This is Chris Daughtry
he was offered the lead singer spot in the band Fuel, but turned them down to start his own Band Daughtry Which sounds exactly like Fuel. | |

Those conspiracy theories every season kill me. He was voted off (rather, another was voted to stay), because voters liked somebody else more. It's as simple as that. | |
