Favorite cuts from "A Motown Christmas"

Well, its that time of year (when good friends are dear,) and I've been playing A Motown Christmas at least once a day. It is my favorite holiday compilation, and a staple of the Christmases of my childhood. With the exception of a few selections (mostly by the Supremes), every song is classic. If I had to pick a top five, they'd be:

1. Give Love on Christmas Day (Jackson 5)
2. Ave Maria (Stevie Wonder)
3. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen (Smokey & The Miracles)
4. Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer (The Temptations)
5. White Christmas (Diana & The Supremes)

I also have grown to appreciate Marvin's "I Want To Come Home for Christmas," but its almost too much of a downer.

What are your favorites?

It always amazes me when listening to Michael's
singin when he hits those high notes at the end of "kissing santa claus".

What Christmas Means To Me - Stevie Wonder
Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer - The Temptations
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town - The Jackson Five
Give Love On Christmas Day - The Jackson Five
One Day At Christmas - Stevie Wonder

I didn't care for most of the rest of the album. The other songs were a little too traditional sounding for my taste. I hated The Temptations version of "Silent Night" on this particular album also. I prefer the radio version which is on the "Slow Jams Christmas" compilation.
Andy is a four letter word.
