Faith and need you tonight were constantly on the radio whenever it was on at home and I remember loving them, though I was 4. I remember hearing mj's bad all the time too, mostly from people's tape players and at concerts. There's even a home video of my parents at a party and they were blasting faith and dancing to it with friends lolll [Edited 12/9/07 13:39pm]

I was not even alive in December 12, 1987. But I do love several of the songs on the list: Faith, The Way You Make Me Feel, etc.

They were. I would get especially annoyed when they'd play Faith without the Freedom organ intro (which they did often).

Those were the jams of my pre-teens. I remember them in heavy rotation. Memories of sitting next to the radio to record these tunes on my Maxell tape (yall kids don't know nothin' about that). Good times! Jody, George Michael, New Order, Inxs and the REAL pop princesses Debbie Gibson and Tiffany! That was some real good music

I wonder what's going to make Elton re-release that song this decade. He only has a couple more years to go... Maybe it's because that's the version I know best, but I only like that live version. Odd given that the original is from Goodbye Yellowbrick Road, and I think that's his best album by far.

I had no idea "crazy" by Icehouse made top 40? I love that song. Also "valerie"? Was this a remix, as that song came out in the early 80's? Great song, but 1987? And I agree with ripher2shreds, that live version of "candle in the wind" is awesome.
