She has her own fanbase who are more than willing to go to her solo concerts. Janet performed on tout with the Jackson 5ive starting in 1974 through 76, I believe. It was actually the Jackson 5 plus 4 (Rebbie, La Toya, Randy & Janet). So I don't think that counts. And besides that was all Joe's doing.

Personally, I don't see what the big deal is with them touring. I guess, if it was THE OSMONDS folks would really be jumping for joy. So, why not THE JACKSONS?

I don't care.
As long as Jermaine, Michael, Tito, LaToya & Freddie are reunited, like back during the Victory Tour, that's what I'm all about.

JACKSON 5IVE TOUR- MARLON, JACKIE, TITO, JERMAINE & RANDY!!!!!
THE ONLY WAY THAT MICHAEL WILL BE ON BOARD IS IF JOSEPH HAD A BELT IN HIS HAND & MADE MICHAEL DO IT!!!!!

I don't think that Janet was ever considering joining this tour. It's probably just another silly rumor started by Jermaine Jackson, trying to ignite interest in this tour and to get promoters excited about the possibility.

Far as the Jackson tour, is anyone surprised that she aint into it? She's still gonna give it at least one more go - round to try and have a hit song, a hit album, and headline her own arena tour (yikes)- if she fails this time, then I think at least an MJ/JJ tour overseas will NOT be out of the question. Janet's best work was cut in 3 months or less.

In all honesty, I think a Jacksons tour would be amazing. If a year ago someone told you the Spice Girls reunion tour would sell out around the world would you believe them? I think the hype over the Spice Girls tour is proof that people would be excited and intrigued enough to buy tickets to a Jacksons reunion tour.

I think she was actually a part of some concerts around 1974-1976.theres some pix of this. And no it wasn't from the Vegas shows Michael wanted Janet to be the opening act for the Victory Tour, but the brothers, especially Jermaine and Marlon, opposed it. Years later, when Janet was doing the Rhythm Nation Tour, guess who asked if he could be the opening act? Permaine Jackson himself! I remember in 1989,Randy Jackson had his own band called "Randy and the Gypsys".You think that Janet would have offered them the chance to open her 'Rhythm Nation' shows but she chose Chuckii Booker instead. So much for family loyalty, huh?

I'm gonna make a prediction.Michael will decide that he doesn't want to do it and the brothers will decide to tour without him It'll be a money-losing fiasco.

I can't see Janet getting involved in this but if she did, I think that would be kinda cool. Even though it's Page Six, I hope to God that JD really isn't trying to rule everything that Janet does. Bad enough, his involvement in 20 Y.O.fucked the CD up and is making me superclose to dropping Janet. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

You know, I would not mind at all if this tour is like The Jacksons tour of the past. Fantastic music, good musicians, singing, and dancing. That is all I am asking. And in the current landscape of popular music, I am thinking that I am asking for too much. [Edited 12/4/07 17:37pm]
