East Side Story CDs (containing rare R&B oldies)

Who else listens to the East Side Story compilations? Is this only a Bay Area and Los Angeles thing? lol These compilations contain extremely rare and hard to find R&B oldies, mostly from the 60s and early 70s.

There's about a dozen of these compilations. My favorite is Volume 11,which starts off with...

"Somebody Please" by The Vanguards
"Oh My Angel" by Bertha Tillman
"Yes,I'm Ready" by Barbara Mason
"Ain't No Big Thing" by the Radiants
"Oh How It Hurts" by Barbara Mason

In the 80s,these cassettes were extremely popular out here on the West Coast. In the 90s,they released these volumes on CD.In this decade, they released all 12 volumes in a box set (pictured above) but they changed the tracklists of the individual CDs,which many fans complain about.
