Throwback Soul Train

Hey it's Timmy84 once again on the ones and twos giving you a rundown through the tracks of your mind with the exciting world of SOUL and what's going on with Soul Train this week. The year is 1976 and we're right into the disco period, here's the show:

The Best Disco in Town - The Ritchie Family

Shake, Shake, Shake - KC & the Sunshine Band

Scramble Line Song (Four Tops) - Flowers - The Emotions

Performance: Free - Deneice Williams

Message In Our Music - The O'Jays

Performance: I Hope We Get to Love in Time - Billy Davis, Jr. & Marilyn McCoo

Energy to Burn - B.T. Express

Performance: You Don't Have to Be a Star - Billy Davis, Jr. & Marilyn McCoo

Mr. Melody - Natalie Cole

Performance: It's Important to Me - Deniece Williams

Soul Train Line Song: You + Me - The Undisputed Truth

Performance: You Can't Change My Heart - Billy Davis, Jr. & Marilyn McCoo

Well that should hold you down for a little while, we like to thank Niecy and Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Jr. for giving us great performances and the Soul Train dancers for shaking their groove thing (I SEE YOU JODY! biggrin). You come back next week on these same stations and you can BET your last money, it's all gonna be a stone gas, honey. I'm Timmy84 and as always, we wish you love, peace and soul! rose peace fro

This one was decent. The beginning of the show started out really good but then it started getting a little slow. Did anyone see Marilyn McCoo start moving her lips to lipsync before her lyrics started? That was funny as hell. She made that "oops" face afterwards and Billy Davis, Jr. was trying to keep a straight face. lol
Andy is a four letter word.
