I like their version of the Bacharach classic, "Walk on By". I'd like to cover their version one day with my band.
NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Hey Natasha,

No offence, but are you on a mission to weed out fans of random Seventies bands with the use of near-identical threads?

They are 80's bands my friend. Popular with the Punk scene around 81-82. Around the time Prince was doing Controvesy. Showing ya what music was Popular back then. Max's Kansas City and the MUDD Club,CBGBS and Gildersleeves,Ritz and bottom Line in N.Y. This was the Punk scene and the Clubs and all. St.Marks Place where Prince used to Shop for his Street clothes. Best place in N.Y. the East Fucking Village.

I saw them live in the early '90s post Cornell.. they were still big enough to play in medium sized venues at the time. They were great! one of the best gigs Ive been to. "Go buddy go" went down a storm!

Um... dunno how to say this without seeming hostile (which is not my intention), but the Buzzcocks, New York Dolls and Stranglers all began life in the 1970s, and most people would agree that's when they made their best (and in NY Dolls' case, only) music. I dunno, maybe it was the 80s by the time they reached where you are...
