She looks like she's been smoking, a LOT...in the sun.
Still, she has a very warm smile. It's very inviting.
She's always had has deep laugh lines, that makes her look older.
If she went thru the Hollywood treatments, that the rest of them do, she'd look an easy 15 years younger...and she knows this. It's nice that she's seems genuinely comfortable in her skin.

Jasmine has had an illness for a long time. One of my uncles was on her hospital ward a few years ago. She was also way past college age when she did a different world.

The photo is striking largely because we see it in juxtaposition to that mask she was wearing 15+ years ago -- uber-high make-up, hair always freshly done, perfect lighting, digitally airbrushed. If the woman in the above pic passed me on the street today, I'd think she looks a bit tired and un-dolled up at worst. It's a candid shot -- and she looks perfectly OK. If she had the time to get her hair together and throw on a bit of makeup, she'd still be considered a pretty woman, as she was just a couple years ago in Dead Like Me. Older, for sure, but still pretty.
