The Crusaders - Chain Reaction I pull this baby from storage today, kinda forgot how great it was. Anyone else dig this one, out yonder.

The Crusaders?...
...Hell yeah! Some great tunes and slick guitar playing from Larry Carlton. Add the great talents of Joe Sample, Wayne Henderson, Stix Hooper & Wilton Felder and you've got a band to be reckoned with. I Felt The Love Rainbow Visions Their next album (with Robert "Pops" Popwell on bass) is probably my favorite... ...Those Southern Knights. They had a hit with Keep That Same Old Feeling. My cut from that record was Spiral... ...Killer groove and Carlton burns on guitar. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. ...
Love those albums!! In fact, for me, their most dynamic albums are the ABC/Blue Thumb releases from the 1974-1978 period.....and Chain Reaction, Southern Knights, and Free As The Wind are my three favorites... ... My favorite by them is a live one called "Scratch". I first heard it as a teenager thanks to my uncle. I have not stopped listening to it since. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

'Images' Gonna spin it later on me tooooo! "Free As The Wind" & "Unsung Heros" and a scratched up "Scratch" album...although it look pretty good in the store, hey for a dollar I can work around it 'til I find a better copy!. The title cut is good, the third or fourth cut midway through has the blemish on it. [Edited 12/1/07 16:17pm]
