Another good song. Now I know what music I want to look for this weekend. It gets hard to think of something I don't already have when I get into the record store.

Jean is such a BAAAD ASS.

She was a female vocalist for the Duke Ellington orchestra at some point, thats how bad she is.

I have her greatest hits and play it frequently. I really like "I'm Back For More", "Don't Let It Go To Your Head" and "Valentine Love".

love this lady
my favorite song from that album
is a tie between
"(No No) You Can't Come Back Now"
and "Revelation/Infant Eyes"
(a nod to her earlier work
with Doug Carn...)

there's another song of hers
that I dig so much
"You Are All I Need"
from her self-titled album
I get lost in it everytime I push play

which was sampled for Amerie's
second album...
"be who you are and say what you feel
because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind."
