Michael Jacksons HIStory. I was like 3 or 4? I think it was Janet Jacksons velvet rope soon after that.

My mum took me to see Bon Jovi when I was 13. She sat there reading her book the whole time. She even told the truth and wrote a note to my school to give me the day off so we could line up early and make a day of it. Luckily my teacher's daughter was doing the same thing so she let it pass lol

My first real concert (I refuse to mention the other one) was Europe, when I was 12... you know... The Final countdown! And it was great! They're such a great live band, so much more rocking than on cd! They're still one of my favourite bands! The second concert was the Scorpions, then Ozzy, Guns N'Roses and then finally Michael at the kick off of the Dangerous Tour! Great memories! Prince was my 81st concert in August 1998... I'm now at 189!

I believe it was in 1999. We left in the middle of Cash Money boo though.

Nice show though. Nas was good by himself on stage.

INXS in the early nineties. I was still really young and it came as a surprise that I was even going until the last mintue. I must have been 12 or around there. Not very clear on the details but it was good. It was at the Palace of Aburn Hills.

I was taken to my first real concert by my mother...

...Marian Anderson (Farewell Concert Tour at the Brooklyn Academy of Music)

...Carnegie Hall (final performance of her Farewell Concert Tour)

...with a young Leonard Berstein

Probably why to this day I have a low tolerance for those that don't take the art of singing seriously.

Nice pic of her at Carnegie. She is absolutely stalking the stage.

For me, it was James at the Appolo. I was hooked on funk since then.

The Philosopher Kings lol I forget the year though, I think I only went because me and my brother were in that - do everything your older sister does to bug the living hell outta her - stage.

I ended up meeting the drummer's dad and some really tall guy told us to hold on to him and he took us all the way to the front row(outdoor concert, we all paid the same price to get in so I don't feel bad at all about it). Also the lead's sister or something like that was my pediatrician... small world shrug

Janet at Sandstone Arena in Bonner Springs Kansas on the lawn. She had switched from the blonde extentions to the braids.

She cut out about 4 songs that she performed at other cities. Janet seems to cut songs out of smaller markets.
