What are your thoughts on this? Some of it seems really out there, like the No Pussy Blues performance from some TV show. But I like the raw sound of it. Sounds like really brutal, violent blues or something.

It's a very good record. I'm not into Nick Cave very much--The Best of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds is his only album that I own and can tolerate, but Grinderman I really like.

I see Grinderman as a Nick Cave album for people who don't like Nick Cave.

i've been a nick cave fan since "tender prey" first came out, and i don't like grinderman at all. i think i'm more of a fan of his gloomy/creepy stuff and his ballads than i am of his noisy, shouty, thrashy stuff. he lost me since this album and the cowboy movie. i don't like handlebar moustache nick cave!
