Been listening to Hush. Sounds a bit like Annie Lennox, in that one. She's playing tonight at Joes Pub - NYC.

she's been around for a while. she was on the first couple of Lilith Fairs. Her first record was co-poduced and co-writen ,in parts, by Hod David(her then boyfriend / Maxwell fame) and Chris Dowd of Fishbone. Good stuff,imo. the first is more Sade than Annie Leenox.

it also features my man Jeff Buckley and Joan Wasser.

see i'm not much for the newer stuff. it went too far into "world music" land for my tastes. Sun machine had just the right blend for my tastes.
