tick tock you don't stop.

they all looked like lookalikes of other artists- Kenny G., Vanilla Ice, Milli Vanilli, etc.

What ever happened to them?

I bought their CD back in the day. I think they were popular in Europe for a while there, but seem to have vanished since.

And you complain about Prince's recent music? That's real RICH.

I'm sure 10 years from now you'll say N'Sync, Backstreet, 98 Degrees, etc. were better than so and so was too...

Their first CD wasn't bad.I liked the songs "I Wanna Sex You Up" and "I Adore Mi Amore".Sounded good on the radio back in 1990.

Like All-4-One,these guys refuse to give up.Even though their recent albums have all bombed, they're still together and still release new music from time to time.In fact, their last album (can't remember the name) found them moving in a more "conservative" direction without the sexual lyrics of past efforts.

I must confess that I bought their first 2 releases. They were representing Oklahoma City. They were good tho. Once a year I dust off the cassettes and play some songs. Remember they were on an episode of BH90210, when Brenda and Kelly were trying to get into their hotel room? Gosh, why was that the first thing that popped in my head.shake

Yea and I still love the "Crazy You" sample they did on the second album. even the Sly cover was better than I thought. They were definitely wimpy but better than today's pop boy bands i thought.

"All For Love"

I like that one very much. It had a great beat, nice vocals, happy lyrics, they were fun, no big deal but they were right for the period. It was fun music, happy music.

Now it's all bravado.

It was like a vocal group type thing. I actually can respect the mix of ethnicities, you know, black, latino, white all in group. You don't see that anymore.

But to correct another here, I think the period was '91 - '92.

And I'm not dumping it from my MP3 play list!

colol me bad were some very nice guys. I got a visit from the four of them on my ship after Desert storm. I am a fan they actually can sing. Theres no shame in that they sound slammin sing accupella that's without music for those that don't know. Let some of these groups now try that. A shipmate was one of the guys ex-girlfriends. She told them that she'd just meet their biggest fan. I was floored that they took the time to come and see me. I am a fan for life.
The only thing was Prince was producing some songs in 1991 and Mayte wanted to write for them that was a bummer for them. Just because shes doing someone doesn't mean she can write good songs.
sorry if that was over your head...jump up and try to catch the point next time.
