Nothing really stuck to my ribs this year. Me'shell's album was nice but after seeing her live twice she really turned me off.
i just stumbled over Burial's new album and i must say it's some of the nicest most intriguing sounds i've heard in a long time! http://www.boomkat.com/it...m?id=56128 http://www.myspace.com/burialuk [Edited 11/29/07 1:57am]

Brett Andersson's solo debut. Not a masterpiece, but still quite a wonderful album with some great minimalistic ballads. btw, is that one half of SOTT on the shelf or a 12" single? I know it's rude, she's a dude, but all I want is easy action baby! -Marc Bolan

U know, I have several Meshell albums and love them to death, so based on a new release and all the good chatter I have been reading, I rushed right out and couldn't wait to press play. OK, SO WHAT AM I MISSING? This is the only Meshell CD I am not gettin. I think it's horribly self-indulgent (not that she doesn't have the right) crap. It will make a lovely coaster though.

Really has nothing with Nine Inch Nails.
I mean, what makes him so special? his music is often repetive, boring and fake, lacking dynamics, harmonies and musicality. His lyric show us a smallminded person with paranoia. Can some of you explain me what the magic of NIN is?

What the funk happened to this place? It used to be fun, creative, helpful even. Supafuck, I like to think that most people here have a personality behind their words, but I think U just have a bad disease with a name I can't even pronounce.
