Great album!
In my opinion, it's just as good as his first three albums. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

As per my SN, I think I vaguely recall this one Seriously..."This Boot" is one SLAMMIN Bootzilla endeavour. Just re-released digital by Rhino / Atlantic last month. Big ups for the One Giveth album, too BTW..hid best work of the 80's on these two, IMHO. Funk Is It's Own Reward

But Hey, I would've paid $50 for it! As hard as they're making good Funk to find these days - A Funkateer's got to do what a Funkateer's got to do! Now all I gotta do is find Mutiny's "Mutiny On The Mamaship" on CD at ANY price! Can't find that shiznit ANYWHERE!

Lucky Thing! Trust me when I tell you - You have an extremely rare CD! (Don't you love when that happens?) Right now, if you wanted to sell it, you could get in excess of $100 for it on eBay. My recommendation? Keep it tightly in your grips. The Funk aint worth selling-out! Little trivia: Did you know that the single "Lump" was featured in that Al Pacino movie "Cruising" from 1980. In fact, that's the first time I heard that song. I could have sworn it was a George Clinton song, and searched high and low for it for years, but never found it. It wasn't until years later that I learned it was by a group called "Mutiny" (A band of disgruntled P-Funkers). I have the singles "Lump" and "Funk 'N' Bop" on the George Clinton compilation CD "6 Degrees of P-Funk". But alas, have yet to locate the "Mutiny On The Mamaship" CD. So ENJOY, my fellow Brother in the Funk!

I knew y'all would be diggin' on this.
The cuts on "This Boot Is Made For Fonk'n" are long. I was caught off guard one day listening to Jam Fan(Hot) on the radio, and was like dag they cut it too short. Good to know that this sucka's on CD. [Edited 12/5/07 18:44pm]
