About fuckin' time.
No mention of an album though. I though she was supposed to be doing another album straight after Aerial. Or am I confused ? Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

Kate said that she had no material left over from the Aerial sessions but her former beau Del Palmer said otherwise, so we'll see. It's rumoured that there's a really cool song about a handbag that hasn't yet seen the light of day. Yeah, it's Kate, folks. I'll be surprised if she does nothing to celebrate 30 years in the business next year... then again, maybe I won't.

I'll be surprised if she does nothing to celebrate 30 years in the business next year... then again, maybe I won't. Ah, I think I am confused then. There was an interview with her on BBC radio shortly after the release of Aerial, which I downloaded and listened to. Come to think of it, you probably provided the link to it. That's where I thought I heard her saying she was planning a new album. I guess it was just wishful thinking on my part - it's a while since I listened to it. As with washing machines, I'm sure Kate is about the only person who could get away with a song about a handbag. I'd love to hear that one. As for a 30 year celebration - fingers crossed. Maybe we should contact Dave Gilmour - I'm sure he, of all people, could persuade her to do something (and provide some nifty riffs too). Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

She just didn't say when it would be. And yeah, she'd be a fool to let her 30th slip by without any celebration. But something tells me she's gonna be that fool.

if i'm not mistaken, i think i remember reading in the MOJO interview that she had another album ready to go right after aerial. anyway, yeah, i remember her saying that SOMEWHERE, though i certainly didn't expect it to happen. i'm happy there's at least one new kate song on the horizon...it's more than i anticipated, so it's a pleasant surprise.

She was tugging your testes. It was obviously a joke when she said "I'll release two albums next year."

Apparently it's supposed to have a similar vibe to And So Is Love.

As some of you might know I love the Pulman books, so I am very curious about the movie, Kate's involvement is making it even more of a journey. Can't wait.
