I have both albums by Santogold's former band Stiffed. They are very cool. I didn't know her solo album was out. I didn't even know Santi was performing under the name Santogold. I think I missed her when she opened for The Klaxons and Björk a few months ago.

Kate Nash isn't bad. I saw her when she played here in September (the night after the Björk/Klaxons/Santogold show). She has talent but her lyrics can be awful at times.

I like their formula for Estelle...

I had the pleasure of seeing Liam Finn open for Crowded House three times this year. He was energetic, versatile, and you can certainly see some of his father's genius in him. I'm looking forward to his album finally being released here in the U.S. in January.
